Lower thirds
Six designed styles ship with the application, animated and timed. Put in a name and a role and it is ready.
Set your brand colours once in the skin picker and every lower third for the rest of the show matches.
Build them before the event, not during it. A lower third typed live is a lower third with a typo in it.
Save each one to the list as you build it. On the day, every name and title is one click, and the list is what the rota runs from.
Choose how it moves — rise, fade, slide or cut — and how long the move takes. Its place is the standard lower-third position; nudge it by a tenth of a percent of the frame if a set or a logo needs it moved, and the change shows live while it is on air.
Lower thirds that run themselves
The rota puts graphics on by itself. Each line is a saved lower third, the logo or the ticker, every so many seconds, for so many seconds: the speaker's name every two minutes for six seconds, the giving details every half hour, the event hashtag for a moment every thirty seconds.
Lines take turns. Nothing is put on top of anything else, and a lower third you put on by hand is left alone until it has gone.
The rota is always off when the app starts, so nothing goes on air by surprise. Switch it on in Lower Third › Automatic once the show is under way.
Tickers, countdowns and logos
The ticker scrolls text along the bottom. The countdown clock runs to the start of the event and can appear on the stream, on stage display, or both.
The logo bug sits in a corner. Its place can be picked from nine spots, nudged with sliders, or typed to a tenth of a percent when a broadcaster's spec says exactly where.
Comments in the ticker
The ticker can crawl the audience's comments instead of typed text: Ticker › Viewer comments. Nothing reaches it that has not passed moderation, comments with links never crawl, and one person cannot appear twice within the time you set.
Approve first is the newsroom setting: each comment waits in the Ticker tool, or under a Ticker button on every chat message, until you put it in. Automatic lets every comment that passes moderation crawl. The crawl only changes at the start of its loop, so a new comment never makes the text jump. Stop and clear empties it at once.
The headline strap
Tools › Headline: type a line, press Enter, it is on screen — a coloured tag box (BREAKING, LIVE, JUST IN, or your own word) and the line, sliding in, flush above the ticker or at the bottom when the ticker is off. The last twelve lines are one click each.
A second logo — a sponsor, a partner station, a programme mark — has its own picture, size, place and switch beside the first, in the Logo tool.
Motion graphics
Vector motion graphics stay sharp at any size. There is a searchable library built in, and you can import your own.
Slides
Import a PowerPoint or Keynote deck and it becomes a source you can take to air like any other.
The presenter can advance their own slides from the lectern using the phone remote — no hand signals, no slide arriving three seconds late.
Lyrics and scripture
Song lyrics display line by line in a designed frame, including CCLI-formatted text with the licence details in place.
Scripture ships with three translations that work with no internet connection. Type a reference or a phrase and it is found and formatted. Voice Callout lets you say the reference out loud and have it appear.
A separate text-only output can drive screens in the room while the broadcast shows the full picture.
